Seniors' Choice office hours are typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Seniors' Choice can be reached twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week at (763) 546-1599.
We choose caregivers based on their experience, qualifications, dependability and personality traits. We look for caregivers that are kind, helpful, trustworthy, and caring. All employees must meet our strict hiring criteria, which include:
Professional references verifying their experience
A criminal background investigation
Driving-record check
Participation in the company two-step orientation and training, which covers all company policies and procedures, including special training in caring for persons with memory loss.
Seniors' Choice has helped many families who are caring for their loved one from a distance. Upon request, we will meet privately with your loved one to discuss what level of service is required and to help us select the most qualified caregiver for your family member. If requested, we will follow up with you on a regular basis regarding your loved one's care. In some situations (notably when a client has significant memory loss) a caregiver has accompanied his/her client to medical appointments, presented a family member's questions and followed up with family after the appointment.
